Tom and I tested out some new equipment and recording processes while asking each other 100 questions. We took a break from the normal format but will return on April 15th with our new episode about Ghostbusters.
I remember when I first met Tom I knew he and I would kick it off pretty well. Brief jokes at the office led to hour long geek out conversations about comic books, Edgar Wright, and Star Wars. As I was just getting to know Tom, my friend Samee asked me if I knew anyone looking to get into podcasting as she was looking to add more shows to her podcast network: Hello LionFace. I sprang out of my chair and rushed over to Tom’s desk and without hesitation I told him the premise of the show idea I had “Have A Drink With Me” and if that was something he would be interested in doing. No questions asked, Tom said yes.
We’ve recorded episodes with writers, actors, wrestling commentators, and comedians; drank too many cocktails and have almost reached 3,000 downloads in the six months we’ve been streaming. I appreciate Tom completely and couldn’t have picked a better person to run a show with. Much love to my brother, here’s to many many more episodes.
